Summary

The Private Equity Associate will perform fund-level operations, financial analysis, due diligence, and internal collaboration with portfolio companies to contribute to the success of the fund and maximize value within the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 2+ of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related field
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of investment analysis, due diligence, and fund operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support fund-level decision-making
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to assess fund performance
  • Lead due diligence processes for potential investments, analyzing market trends and assessing risks
  • Collaborate with external advisors, legal teams, and industry experts to ensure thorough evaluations
  • Work closely with portfolio companies to understand their financial performance and operational needs
  • Provide support and strategic insights to enhance the performance of portfolio investments
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for both the fund and portfolio companies
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement within the fund and portfolio companies
  • Collaborate with management teams to implement efficiency and growth initiatives
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for existing and potential investors
  • Address inquiries and provide information related to fund and portfolio performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to drive fund success
