ABOUT THE CRA TEAM

The Center for a Reimagined Africa (CRA) supports African public sector leaders in developing the expertise, experiences and partnerships needed to improve service delivery and outcomes for African citizens. We run various  learning programs targeted at public sector officials at varying levels of seniority.

THE ROLE

We are seeking Product Coaches to support the Digital Ambassador Program in Togo, a government initiative aimed at accelerating the digitization of public services. Product Coaches will work alongside the Product Management Faculty to provide hands-on coaching, mentorship, and practical guidance to Digital Ambassadors as they apply product management principles to real-world government digital transformation projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Coaching & Mentorship

  • Provide monthly small-group coaching sessions.
  • Support Ambassadors in applying product management frameworks to their government projects.
  • Offer real-time problem-solving, feedback, and strategies for overcoming challenges in digital transformation.

Office Hours & Drop-In Support

  • Host optional office hour sessions each month where Ambassadors can seek guidance on various product management issues.
  • Help Ambassadors refine their approach to launching and iterating digital services.

Collaboration with Product Management Trainer

  • Work closely with the Product Management Faculty to align coaching content with training objectives.
  • Identify common challenges across Ambassadors and provide insights to improve the training experience.

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in civic tech, digital government, fintech, SaaS, or public service innovation.
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, or training product teams.
  • Ability to provide structured feedback and guide product development in resource-constrained environments.
  • Fluency in BOTH English and French.

LOCATION

  • Remote (with two in-person training workshops in Togo)

START DATE

  • 05 May 2025 (12-month, part-time contract)
