About the Role

We’re looking for a talented and user-centered Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for creating exceptional user experiences and an eye for design detail. You will take ownership of UX across our digital products — from initial discovery and user research to wireframes, prototypes, and polished user interfaces.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure that our products deliver intuitive, accessible, and delightful experiences to learners and educators worldwide.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and iterate on user-centered experiences for web and mobile platforms
  • Conduct and synthesize user research, interviews, usability testing, and analytics to inform design decisions
  • Develop user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma
  • Translate complex product requirements and user needs into elegant, accessible, and intuitive UI
  • Advocate for UX best practices, accessibility standards, and inclusive design across the organization
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality design implementation
  • Define and track UX success metrics to measure and improve product usability and experience
  • Stay current on UX/UI trends, tools, and emerging technologies to continually elevate design quality

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UX/UI design or product design

  • Proven experience in user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design solutions

  • Proficiency in Figma (and familiarity with design systems)

  • Strong skills in visual design: typography, color theory, layout, interaction design

  • Understanding of UX strategy, information architecture, and interaction patterns

  • Solid understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles

  • A portfolio that demonstrates deep UX thinking and polished UI design

  • Ability to communicate design decisions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience working in agile product development teams

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable with fast-paced environments

  • Contract Structure & Compensation

    • Contract Type: Independent Contractor (Global)
    • Please note: contractors are responsible for their own taxes and benefits in compliance with their local regulations.

Why Woolf

  • Global Impact: Work with education leaders worldwide to shape the future of learning.
  • Remote Flexibility: Work from anywhere with a schedule that fits your lifestyle.
  • Growth Potential: Join a fast-growing company with opportunities to expand your role.
  • Innovative Culture: Be part of a mission-driven team backed by top investors.
