Waymo’s Product Management Team is a mission-driven team responsible for writing and enacting first-of-their-kind playbooks to bring fully autonomous driving technology to market. Our team develops simple solutions for complex problems by orchestrating cross-functional efforts to safely drive Waymo’s technology and the products it enables forward. We do this by understanding the customer, the business, and the technology. We are humble about the scope of our work, collaborative in our approach to problem-solving, and ambitious about our vision for the future.
This role follows a hybrid or remote work schedule and reports to a Manager of Product Management.
You will:
- Develop the marketplace / network optimization roadmap; own end-to-end feature delivery for your projects (concept → launch → land)
- Work alongside of engineering, data science, design, and user research counterparts to identify opportunities, design solutions, deliver high-impact products, and identify what to do next
- Work directly with other Commercialization PMs and cross-functional partners to identify opportunities and deliver collaborative solutions
- Serve as the subject matter expert on marketplace topics (e.g., pricing) for stakeholders across the organization, from peers up to executive leadership
You have:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience
- Ability to translate company-level objectives to team-level priorities and build a product roadmap to achieve those outcomes
- Experience working on pricing, marketplaces, or similar domains with highly algorithmic products
- Strong mix of product development skills, including user experience thinking, analytics, process management, and engineering / data science depth
We prefer:
- Experience on a pricing or marketplace products
- Experience working at a growth stage company in the ridesharing, delivery, or logistics industries
- Demonstrated data analytics experience (SQL, data analysis, etc)
- Ability & interest in going deep into quantitative challenges, whether into a specific product feature or developing a broader financial model
- Excitement to work on a variety of project types; ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter
The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. $204,000—$259,000 USD
