About this position…
You will use your strong technical expertise and understanding of full Software Development Life Cycle ( SDLC) to implement and configureInnovative’s proprietary data quality, data matching and compliance solutions on premise and in SaaS environments. Prior software implementation and data migration experience are desired.
This position is based in Mexico City; travel 10-50% may be needed domestically and internationally.
What you will be doing:
Our Professional Services Consultants are multi-faceted individuals who have strong technical expertise and understanding of data, databases, and data migration. You will perform a mix of technical and client-facing activities from pre-sales to product configuration, implementation, and post-project hand-off and possibly data migrations.
As a consultant at Innovative you will be highly analytic, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. You are a proven collaborator who works easily across other departments and geographies. At Innovative, each day brings opportunities to use your skills in new and different ways as you:
- Execute all facets of the software and services delivery life cycle from pre-sales support through product configuration, testing, training, integration, and implementation
- Collaborate with sales and other internal teams to understand and learn about prospective client needs
- Design and deliver effective product presentations and technical demonstrations during the sales cycle so clients understand how Innovative’s products solve their business problems and create value for them
- Assist with development of product justifications such as use case projects and proof of concepts (POCs)
- Consult with clients; analyze and develop understanding of their data and product / customization needs
- Implement Innovative’s technology in various environments; on-site, remotely (SaaS) or hybrid
- Utilize software application programming and tools to integrate Innovative’s solutions within client’s resident systems and processes
- Configure and when needed, customize Innovative’s software to align the with client needs
- Provide consulting and client training, on-site or remotely
- Use batch processes to integrate Innovative’s products into client processes
- Perform testing to ensure product implementation meets or exceeds performance and quality standards
- Provide client support until post-implementation hand-off to Innovative’s support (Customer Success) team
What skills and experience do I need?
Experience with SQL, C, Java and other related programming languages and w eb services are essential. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required is required; Portuguese and other languages are a plus.
- 3-7 years of experience performing technical implementations and integrations
- Undergraduate or higher level degree in computer or software engineering, computer or information science, mathematics or related degree or experience
- Experience with C, Java, .Net, or other related languages
- Database expertise, particularly in creating SQL queries
- Database management, data migration, and ETL transformation knowledge or experience
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong commitment to follow-through
- Ability to understand, interpret, and effectively communicate technical concepts
- Ability to understand, articulate, and define solutions that meet the client’s needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven effective team player / collaborator
- Native-level Spanish and English language skills (spoken and written)
- Ability to obtain and maintain proper travel documents including visas to enter the United States and other countries for performing work and/or training
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% (domestically and internationally)
It’s a plus if you have:
- Understanding or working knowledge of data management concepts, data analysis, data quality, data integration, business Intelligence, or similar technologies
- Portuguese and other language skills
