POSITION SUMMARY
As a Professional Services Engineer I, you will help design, configure, and train new and existing clients on the Vasion Print solution, including Advanced Security and Cost Management features. You will contribute to the creation of scope of work documentation and support project delivery in both on-premise and SaaS environments. This role is ideal for professionals with foundational experience in software deployment and a strong interest in print management and customer success. You will primarily support small to mid-sized clients and gain exposure to Vasionโs full platform offerings through ongoing training and mentorship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs, configures, and implements Vasion Print, Advanced Security and Cost Management features, as part of the Professional Services team.
Provides support to Sales related to Statement of Work (โSOWโ) creation or technical solutions outlined in Vasion sales proposal template.
Organizes and leads all technical discovery meetings with clients.
Works with existing clients on software updates and upgrades.
Participates in technical training events, as required.
Manages and documents the Change Order Request process with clients.
Participates in technical end user training sessions for the deployed Vasion solution.
Tracks project time utilization to ensure projects are done within the allotted contracted remote service hours.
Maintains current Vasion platform technical knowledge.
Other duties as assigned could include helping work on a support desk ticket or helping perform QA testing a new feature or version.
1-2 Years hands-on experience in system administration, cloud services, or infrastructure support
1-2 Years Prior experience with print management or related enterprise software solutions
Foundational networking knowledge, including protocols, troubleshooting, and security best practices
Proficiency in common operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, iOS, and Android
Understanding of web technologies, including APIs, SaaS platforms, and cloud-based architectures
Experience with Windows Server environments and networking
Experience with both on-premise and SaaS deployments
Proficiency with IIS configuration and troubleshooting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to stay current with evolving IT industry standards, technologies, and best practices
Ability to follow scope of work documentation and assist with change orders
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet project milestones
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Ability to adapt during projects while maintaining forward progress
Team player who works well with others
Job duties may require some travel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Two-Year/Four-year college degree or satisfactory completion of a technical curriculum from an accredited computer school and/ or equivalent work experience.
Three years or more experience implementing ECM and workflow solutions.
Three years or greater overall IT industry experience.
