About the role:

OLIVER is seeking a Program Director to join a high-profile account for a Fortune 500 financial services firm. This global account has already seen growth and is continuing to expand.

The Global Program Director is responsible for the growth and profitability of the business, through monitoring cost control and driving solutions for constant improvement and operational processes. These include resourcing talent and training, driving our proprietary workflow system and overall business management.

This role requires fluency in both English and Japanese.

What you will be doing:

This dedicated team is comprised of project managers, creative and digital designers, developers, and video producers. The team also partners closely with Hong Kong, Shanghai, India, and our global counter-parts in US and UK.

As the Program Director, you will play a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the management and production of digital and print products across Asia. You’ll be at the forefront of orchestrating corporate websites, digital campaigns, newsletters, email flyers, e-Learning modules, banner images, and graphics. On the print front, you’ll also oversee creation and production of posters, flyers, brochures, newsletters, signage, and event/campaign collateral, including communications for major holidays.

  • Developing and implementing processes that promote high standard work, satisfies the agencyโ€™s requirements but also allows for efficient client servicing
  • Strategically oversee and optimize daily operations, ensuring efficient execution of all projects. This involves coordinating resource allocation, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity and align with both organizational objectives and client expectations.
  • A drive for transformation and improvement to day-to-day processes that decrease cost to effort ratios, meet service level targets, and maintain effective flow of information from one area of the business to another
  • Monitoring and educating teams, offering steer and guidance for problem solving and solutions creation
  • Oversight of resource scheduling and utilization ensuring efficiencies by a streamlined approach
  • Ensuring project management discipline is best in class and standardized across all areas of operation
  • Create, maintain, and analyze reporting to understand and act upon key indicators including utilization, MI System use and adherence to processโ€ฏ.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Create, maintain, and analyze reporting to understand and act upon key indicators including utilization, our proprietary workflow system use and adherence to process
  • Use job and time MI to estimate, track and analyze projects and department utilization to drive recommendations for refinements to process and practice across the business
  • Understanding of people processes associated with clients
  • Results driven and oriented
  • An analytical approach, with a thirst for transformation and not just replication
  • Excellent project budget management and scheduling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in at least 3 of the following: digital, print, and motion graphics, web design, UX-UI, production
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
