rockITdata is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support operations and program management effortsin support of Federal clients across various projects. This position requires strong program management skills along with strong customer interaction skills and a demonstrated ability to work with various stakeholders across multiple tasks and programs. The experience shall include planning, initiating, managing, executing and closing out of programs. The ideal candidate will bring solid leadership, technical acumen, and a proven ability to manage complex programs in a fast-paced environment. This is a Remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and share risks and risk mitigation strategies to ensure contract deliverable compliance.
- Monitor status of deliverables through completion, ensuring on-time delivery and ongoing reporting of status, risks and timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement and foster innovation to enhance program outcomes.
- Lead new business capture management and proposal development of follow-on program efforts, proposals, and adjacent business capture in coordination with the Capture and Contracts team.
- Collaborate with the team and stakeholders across the project.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years managing IT projects in the government sector.
- Excellent analytical, project management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Prior experience through all stages of the delivery program lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification or other Program Management certifications
- Experience supporting federal agencies
