Data Analytics Project Manager
Baltimore, MD (Currently Remote; May Transition to Hybrid in Future)

Role Overview and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Project Manager for a long-term contract to lead the planning, organization, and execution of Data Analytics initiatives. This role involves working with senior management to set priorities, delegating tasks, and ensuring projects meet timelines, scope, and quality standards. The position oversees Data Warehouse projects, leads daily standups, manages stakeholder communication, maintains policies and reports, and ensures technical solutions are scalable and compliant with standards. Additional responsibilities include supporting testing, mentoring team members, participating in the Data Governance Committee, and driving continuous improvement of processes and deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business or Public Administration, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager, business analyst, change management analyst, systems analyst, or similar role in IT organizations and systems.
- Thorough knowledge of planning, developing, implementing, and supporting computer information systems and programs, preferably within a Business Intelligence or Data Warehouse Team.
- Experience working with Azure SQL Instance, SQL Server scripting, and understanding of data modeling.
- Understanding of Data Warehousing principles, concepts, and architecture.
- Thorough knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, meet project deadlines, and visualize complex issues.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of users, team members, and senior management.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and coordinate team efforts across multiple departments.
- Skill in creative and analytical problem-solving and in the operation of computers and related equipment.
- Kβ12 education experience preferred but not required.
