Instructure is seeking a Project Manager for our Content team to lead our mission-driven projects that directly impact millions of educators and learners. We are looking for a natural problem-solver who can take a project from concept to a successful launch.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage project plans, including scoping, timelines, and deliverables
- Coordinate resources (personnel, equipment, documentation) and align them with project requirements, including onboarding and offboarding of contractual project team members
- Monitor project progress, maintain documentation, and provide timely updates to stakeholders
- Facilitate project stakeholder meetings, including setting clear agendas and documenting decisions and action items
- Identify potential risks and roadblocks and work collaboratively across the project team and appropriate stakeholders for mitigation
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and project stakeholders to foster a collaborative and productive team environment
- Assist operations manager in budget allocation and monitoring project-related costs
What you will need to know/have:
- Postsecondary degree, BA or BS preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in a project-related role, preferably in educational technology
- Working understanding of project planning, scheduling, execution and closure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and relationships
- Proven experience in identifying and resolving issues, analyzing data, and making informed decisions
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Proficiency in Asana, Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite.
- K-12 educational experience a plus
- CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) preferred
