Summary
MultiversX is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of their cutting-edge blockchain solutions. As a Test Engineer, you will collaborate with the team, develop test cases, conduct various types of testing, identify and report software defects, and continuously improve test processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience working as a Development Engineer or Test Engineer
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Experience in writing clear and concise test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript) to develop and maintain automated tests
- Understanding of version control systems, such as Git, and familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Ability to analyze software requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the protocol development and test team to understand requirements and design test plans
- Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and security of the network
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, integration and system testing
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects and issues in a clear and concise manner
- Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues
- Continuously improve test processes and methodologies, suggesting and implementing new approaches
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of blockchain technology and prior experience in testing blockchain applications would be a plus
