About the Job
We are seeking a detail- and process-oriented Test Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will design and develop robust, maintainable automation scripts across multiple platforms and technologies. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to drive automation initiatives across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensure performance and scalability, and enhance Keeper’s automated testing ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop robust, maintainable automation scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing
Create and maintain end-to-end test cases using Playwright and other suitable tools to meet test objectives
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Develop test tools based on Keeper developer tools and SDKs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities across the SDLC
Identify relevant test integration points that relate to operational scalability
Utilize TestRail, Jira, and Confluence to manage test cases, tickets, and documentation
Analyze test results, file bug reports, and work with developers to resolve issues
Monitor and maintain the health of automated test suites across multiple environments
Evaluate and recommend new tools and frameworks to enhance the test automation effort
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience with automated API testing
5+ years of experience with automated web-based testing
Experience with performance and load testing methodologies
Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, or similar)
Development experience in JavaScript, Java, .NET, Python/Perl, or Go
Experience with one or more modern test automation frameworks
Experience using SDKs to develop automated processes
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and modern web technologies
Proficient understanding of JSON, XML, and authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation
