Sustainable Talent is partnering with MongoDB, a global leader in data solutions, to find a talented and results-driven Regional Marketing Manager to support our client in Seoul, South Korea. This contract-based role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office.

MongoDB is looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to drive marketing and account-based marketing programs for the region. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and partner teams to develop and execute impactful marketing plans across key regional accounts. Reporting to the Director of North PacRim Marketing, you’ll help build MongoDB’s presence in South Korea while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

Position Expectations:

  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with sales leaders and account representatives in the region to drive territory growth and support go-to-market strategies and co-marketing initiatives for key regional accounts.
  • Understand specific challenges within strategic accounts and develop integrated marketing plans and focused programs to engage with new target audiences, generate demand/opportunities, and help accelerate consumption.
  • Regularly communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities, including global, regional, and local programs.
  • Work with the broader organization to develop strategies to expand MongoDB’s usage across enterprise accounts and various personas, from developers to C-level executives.
  • Use marketing dashboards and data points to understand your market and identify patterns that feed your marketing plan.
  • Align with global marketing on digital, PR, comms, lead gen, and partner activities to support regional goals, and collaborate with the strategic events team to execute the global event program in your region.
  • Ensure consistency of company priorities through brand strategy and messaging in materials and communications.
  • Collaborate on partner marketing initiatives and enhance the utilization of Marketing Development Funds while overseeing the marketing budget for the South Korea region.
  • Ensure performance and ROI are tracked, and supporting processes are set up to effectively measure outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of event planning experience and account management/field marketing experience in a technology company.
  • Demonstrated success with a metrics-driven approach and proven ROI from marketing activities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience with Eloqua, Salesforce, and Wrike is a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills and a results-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of consumption and product-led growth models is desirable.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and work with external partners and agencies.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Korean is a plus.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills.

The Regional Marketing Manager will be successful in this role by achieving the following strategic tasks:

  • In 3 months: Establish relationships with Regional Directors and Account Executives, understand target accounts, and plan awareness and revenue-focused marketing opportunities.
  • In 6 months: Execute pipeline acceleration events, demonstrate their impact, and contribute to the marketing plan.
  • In 12 months: Execute strategic and scalable programs, partner events, and regional developer community events, ensuring documentation and reporting success.

Additional Details:

This is a contract-based role with a hybrid working model, requiring 2-3 days per week in the Seoul office.
