Requirements

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Autodesk AutoCAD software, electrical and electronic theory, elements and building blocks of HVAC controls, damper actuator and control valve sizing and selection, control strategies and logic for HVAC systems, BMS communication protocols and network topologies, Honeywell DDC product offering, company’s design standards and processes

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the project requirements and risks are understood by attending sales turnover meetings, analyzing project plans, specifications, sales estimates, and sales proposals, creating a list of project engineering deliverables, generating Request For Information (RFI) requests
  • Ensure that the final product matches the design intent and clearly communicates design and operation of the system by creating controls drawings, selecting appropriate installation methods and materials, designing a stable, robust, implementable, scalable, and maximum performing BMS communication network
