About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Systems Engineer, Finance Systems with a focus on Coupa Administration to build and lead our Coupa System efforts. This role will be part of our G&A Systems Engineering organization, working alongside two other financial systems analysts focused on Netsuite. Being our primary Coupa administrator, you will partner and collaborate closely amongst your Engineering peers, as well as build strong relationships with our finance business partners, particularly in Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Accounting.

This role requires a technical systems engineer who is open to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty and in the weeds. Prior experience as a Coupa Admin is required and one must have knowledge of the Coupa System architecture.

The current Coupa modules you will support include and are not limited to: Coupa Core (procure to pay), SIM (supplier information management) / vendor onboarding, CoupaPay (PO payments with vCards and Invoice payments with ACH), Expense Management with a corporate card feed, Analytics (Google Looker/LookML) & Risk Aware.

This is a full time position based out of our Bangalore office, with the flexibility to work from home.

What You’ll Do

Serve as our Primary Contact for all things Coupa!

  • Maintain and configure the Coupa platform, including user roles, workflows, approval chains, and system settings.
  • Provide day-to-day support to users across procurement, finance, and other departments.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to procurement, invoicing, and expense management.
  • Collaborate with other Systems Engineers and Business Partners to manage integrations between Coupa, Netsuite, Workday, Ironclad etc.
  • Oversee supplier enablement, punchout catalog setups, and invoicing processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy and troubleshoot system issues in coordination with Coupa support.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in procurement and expense management processes.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to procurement, supplier performance, and system usage.
  • Support internal and external audits by ensuring compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
  • Implement and maintain IT General Controls (ITGCs) and other SOX-compliant technical controls
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, workflows, and business rules.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • Deep hands-on experience with, and architectural and technical knowledge of Coupa. Experience with NetSuite is a bonus!
  • Proficiency with Coupa configuration, user management, and workflow setup and understanding Coupa best practices
  • Strong understanding of P2P processes and systems, including requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and expenses.
  • Familiarity with integration technologies (Celigo) and techniques, including REST and SOAP web services
  • Working knowledge of analytics technologies such as Bigquery, Looker, or Sigma
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop and communicate across teams to get an effective vision and get buy-in from stakeholders
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
