Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret business requirements.
Assess the business impact of potential changes and provide data-driven insights.
Develop and implement data models and algorithms to address business challenges.
Utilize statistical methods to analyze large datasets and extract valuable insights.
Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems.
Work closely with subject matter experts to understand and validate data sources.

Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Elaborate design documentation based on information gathered and confirmed requirements.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
Experience in database interrogation and analysis tools, such as Apache Hadoop, SQL and SAS
Proficient in programming languages such as Python and R.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts effectively.
Proven experience with statistical concepts and data preprocessing techniques.
Proactive with the ability to work independently.
Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to work.
Knowledge of insurance business principles is an advantage.
