Job Description
A bit about the team and what you’ll deliver…
We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our expanding Solution Delivery team in North America. Reporting to the VP, Global Solutions Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Regional Sales Leadership by leveraging your technical expertise and consultative approach to lead complex solution architecture discussions with C-level and technical stakeholders. You’ll drive technical pre-sales activities across North America, transforming opportunities into revenue through expert consultation, solution design, and in-depth knowledge of device locking technologies. Your responsibilities will include qualifying customer requirements, delivering tailored product demonstrations, and creating detailed technical proposals aligned with business objectives. Acting as the key technical liaison between Sales, Engineering, and Product teams, you will ensure accurate solution scoping and smooth transition of closed deals into successful implementations.
As the Sales Engineer, your areas of responsibility will include:
Pre-Sales Technical Engagement
- Daily support to the Regional Sales Leader by delivering technical expertise and product demonstrations customized to the prospect requirements and use cases.
- Maintain deep understanding of the competitive landscape and effectively position our solutions against alternative technologies and vendors.
- Provide ongoing technical guidance to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, including objection handling, technical Q&A, and solution clarification.
- Develop comprehensive customer profiles through technical discovery sessions to understand their technical/functional/security requirements mapping with their business objectives.
- Create detailed technical proposals, including solution architecture diagrams, implementation timelines, integration requirements, and risk assessments.
- Provide best practices, advice and guidance regarding the implementation, deployment support and operation of the Trustonic solution.
- Collaborate with the Product and Professional Services teams to scope out the Delivery work and possible Proof of Concept initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, technical forums, and customer events.
In-Life Customer Engagement:
- Be familiar with customer roadmap and highlight possible risks and opportunities to the Sales and Product teams.
- Inform customer of new features and functionality and identify their value to them.
- Serve as primary technical point of contact for customers, managing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize deployed solutions, recommending configuration changes, feature adoptions, and platform upgrades.
- Represent customer technical requirements and feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams, influencing product roadmap and feature development.
- Take responsibility for the resolution or provision of satisfactory answers to reported problems. Collaborate with the Support team and coordinate escalations as needed.
- Learn about customers successes and challenges and share customer feedback within Trustonic.

As a Sales Engineer you will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Skills
- Able to create end-to-end designs that span multiple domains and technologies
- Ability to work with international partners, vendors and team members based at different locations
- Ability to problem-solve any challenge with creativity, organization and patience
- Proficiency in API integrations, webhook configurations, and cloud-based platform architectures
- Strong Interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader internal and external audience
- Strong Influencing skills and negotiation/mediation skills
- Ability to motivate and drive focus for internal/external people not under direct reporting
Desirable skills:
- use of Zendesk is beneficial
- Use of Aha for requirement gathering and sharing,
- Experience with technical documentation tools (Confluence, Notion, etc.)
- use of first party locking solutions is an advantage (Samsung Knox Guard, Google DLC, Transsion Paytrigger)
Experience
- Extensive experience in the field of working with secure systems
- Technical experience in a SaaS-based company
- Domain expertise or experience of working with the telecom industry
- Solid background in OEM operations with a strong understanding of Android systems and UI/UX principles
- Knowledge and experience in device locking technologies for financing/subsidy and regulatory considerations
- Proven experience in solution design and technical consulting for enterprise customers
Qualifications
- undergraduate degree or equivalent level of skill, experience and knowledge in Computer Science and Information & Technology
