Hi, we’re Oscar. We’re hiring a Sales Oversight Associate to join our Growth Operations team.

About the role
As a Sales Oversight Associate, you will manage Sales Compliance, Licensing, and Broker Behavior Monitoring for Oscar. You will ensure internal sales teams have required credentials, align with partner compliance needs, and monitor external broker compliance and ethical business practices. You will investigate misconduct allegations and create compliance monitoring frameworks and policies. Furthermore, you will collaborate to develop Sales Compliance-related policies and procedures.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Growth Operations.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $98,400 - $129,150 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $88,560 - $116,235 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a framework to easily facilitate Sales team members to acquire new licenses, and renew existing licenses.
- Monitor the status of Sales teams’ licenses, and work with Sales Leads to ensure that they have visibility into expirations.
- Create and maintain scalable policies & procedures related to licensing, appointments certification, Sales oversight and compliance based on day to day cross functional feedback and business needs.
- Work cross-functionally with internal and external partners to investigate allegations of producer misconduct.
- Work cross-functionally to prepare regulatory filings and audit responses.
- Responsible for monitoring ofBroker Oversight Dashboards and identifying RFI opportunities for potential fraudulent activity.
- Responsible for RFI (request or information) findings and business recommendations.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of work experience in sales operations, sales support, compliance, regulatory authorities, or a similar role.
- 3+ years of technical proficiency working with Google, Sheets, Excel, and/or database management.
- 2+ years experience working with insurance and/or sales regulations.
Bonus Points
- Prior work experience in healthcare or insurance preferred.
- Prior experience with insurance licensing and sales regulations preferred.
- Intermediate SQL proficiency preferred.

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
