Role Description
As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be instrumental in the management and scalability of our platform, while assisting with strategic planning and driving operational excellence. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert technical guidance and support to all stakeholders, managing system enhancement projects while handling the essential responsibilities of maintaining system health, operationalizing new and existing integrations, ensuring data integrity, and empowering our business teams through well-configured and reliable solutions.
In this role, you’ll:
- Perform all aspects of Salesforce administration, including but not limited to: managing user access, roles, and permissions; configuring objects, fields, and page layouts; building and maintaining complex workflows, process builders, and flows; and ensuring data integrity through best practices in data management.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements. Assist in the solution design process by mapping business needs to Salesforce capabilities, contributing to planning sessions, and ensuring proposed solutions are scalable and meet user needs. Serve as a key liaison to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Perform management tasks, including licensing, imports, exports, backups, and cleansing—to ensure data integrity, and drive user adoption by documenting support processes, creating FAQs, and developing training materials for knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators and Developers for complex escalations, and stay current with Salesforce updates, proactively sharing knowledge and best practices with the team and end-users.
At a minimum we’d like you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of direct experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a demonstrated progression of responsibilities.
- 2 years of experience managing Salesforce-related projects, including requirements definition, project planning, and execution.
- Experience with configuring & managing Salesforce, including licensing, fundamentals, user management, roles/profiles, custom objects/fields, workflows, Process Builder, and Lightning Flows.
It’s preferred if you have:
- 8 years of direct experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a demonstrated progression of responsibilities.
- Salesforce certifications such as: Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Solid understanding and practical experience in analytics and dashboard development.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $136,000 - $198,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
