Key responsibilities include:
Reporting into the Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships, the Senior Associate, Strategic Partnerships role will focus on:
Operational and Administrative Support - 70%
- Lead data input, cleanup, and maintenance for the Strategic Partnership team’s major internal systems (Salesforce, Google Drive, Asana, Confluence, etc.) by ensuring data integrity and reliability, consistency, and coordination between platforms
- Suggest improvements and design processes to optimize the team’s use of these systems
- Leverage these systems to compile and analyze data and trends in order to support donor solicitation and stewardship, track progress towards targets, and understand the impact of key marketing and communications initiatives
- Enable best-in-class donor relations for major donors and select corporate and foundation partners by helping to manage timely gift acknowledgments, reconciling incoming payments with finance, and supporting tax receipting
- Ensure accurate donor records by swiftly reviewing and confirming online and offline gifts for employer matching, entering incoming gifts from third-party processors, identifying donors in Kiva systems, creating new accounts, and wealth screening donors for appropriate assignment of accounts and contacts to Relationship Managers
- Assist in knowledge management and support collaboration with legal, finance, and impact investing teams by documenting contacts, conversations, opportunities, deliverables, and updates in Salesforce and other systems
- Create and maintain team calendars, e.g., industry conferences, partner deliverables, marketing campaigns, etc.
- Identify and utilize AI tools to improve team operations and tasks
- Create, update, and maintain reports, dashboards, and lists to help the SP team track progress toward OKRs;
- Manage multiple stakeholders’ requests and drive deliverables on an accelerated timeline;
- Support the team with travel, events, and logistical arrangements.
Business Development Support - 30%
- Assist in prospect development - help research and identify potential partners (including corporations, foundations, and individuals) whose philanthropic priorities align with Kiva’s mission and values
- Collaborate with internal teams to support outreach to, cultivation, and stewardship of strategic partnership audiences
- Monitor industry sources and networks to identify funding opportunities and track trends in philanthropy relevant to Kiva’s mission
- Contribute to cross-functional collaboration with investment, impact, finance, and marketing/comms teams to support the development of proposals, pitches, and other partner materials

Preferred qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a nonprofit, philanthropic, or social enterprise environment, with demonstrated ability to learn skills relevant to the function and role
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Salesforce, Asana, Confluence, or other relevant data management systems
- Proven experience managing complex workflows and cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Experience developing and improving internal processes to increase team efficiency and data integrity
- Hands-on experience using Salesforce or other CRMs to manage contacts, pipelines, and grant reporting workflows
- Demonstrated ability to maintain clean and reliable data systems, including updating records, generating reports, and troubleshooting issues
- Ability to document internal processes clearly and propose improvements that optimize performance
- Experience conducting market and prospect research to identify new business opportunities, assess market trends, and inform strategic decision-making
- Comfort supporting the adoption of new tools and processes across a team, including basic troubleshooting and training
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences
- Familiarity or passion for financial inclusion, international development, and/or corporate social responsibility
- Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and using systems to enhance mission-driven work
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion, with sensitivity to the needs of underserved populations
- Flexibility to work with diverse colleagues and cultural settings, and adapt to varying organizational contexts

- Salary range: $60K - $72K; a final offer will be dependent upon a candidate’s location, skills, and experience.
