What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a Senior BI Engineer to help design and develop impactful Business Intelligence solutions for the Supply Management domain. In this role, you will focus on building and optimizing BI models and reports that provide real-time insights into supply chain performance, including inventory levels, demand forecasting, order fulfillment, and logistics operations.

You will collaborate closely with Supply Chain Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Operational Domain Owners, and other stakeholders to implement BI solutions that drive efficiency, minimize costs, and improve the overall performance of our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BI Solution Development: Lead the design, development, and optimization of BI solutions for the Supply Planning and Delivery domain. Create reports, dashboards, and data models that support decision-making across supply chain operations, including inventory management, procurement, logistics, and fulfillment.
  • Data Integration & Reporting: Design efficient processes for integrating data from multiple sources, ensuring BI reports reflect the most current and accurate supply chain metrics.
  • Collaboration with Supply Chain Domain Owners: Work with operational domain owners (e.g., inventory management, logistics, procurement) to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions that address specific supply chain challenges, such as optimizing stock levels, improving demand forecasting, and enhancing order delivery timelines.
  • Data Visualization: Develop interactive, user-friendly BI dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Grafana, or others. Visualize key supply chain metrics and KPIs, helping stakeholders track performance, monitor trends, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Data Governance & Quality: Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data governance standards are adhered to. Ensure high-quality data for reporting and analytics, including consistency, accuracy, and timely updates across systems.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize BI reporting processes for improved performance and scalability. Enhance the speed and reliability of BI queries to support real-time decision-making in supply chain operations.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Partner with data scientists, data engineers, analysts, and other cross-functional teams to refine business requirements, develop models, and ensure that BI solutions align with supply chain objectives and strategies.
  • Operational Reporting: Design BI models to handle complex supply chain metrics, including inventory turnover, demand forecasting, supplier performance, fulfillment cycles, and logistics costs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer, with significant experience in BI reporting, data visualization, and analytics solutions for the Supply Planning and Delivery domain (e.g., ERP/MRP, inventory management, logistics, demand forecasting, inventory management, asset management, and order fulfillment).
  • Deep Technical Expertise: Proficiency in BI tools and technologies such as Tableau, Grafana, Power BI, and SQL. Strong experience with ETL processes, data integration, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a plus.
  • Data Modeling & Reporting: Solid experience in creating and optimizing data models that align with business requirements for supply chain operations. Proficient in building and maintaining star and snowflake schemas, and developing dashboards that provide real-time insights for decision-making.
  • Operational Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of supply chain processes, including inventory management, demand forecasting, procurement, logistics, and order fulfillment. Ability to translate operational needs into effective BI solutions.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operational domain owners, data scientists, and data engineers, to align BI solutions with supply chain goals and KPIs.
  • Problem-solving & Innovation: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on designing scalable, high-performance BI solutions for supply chain analytics. Ability to innovate and improve existing BI processes to enhance decision-making.
  • Data Governance & Quality: Knowledge of data governance practices and experience ensuring high data quality standards for supply chain-related data.
