About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Revenue Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a key role in supporting both the billing processes for our cutting-edge AI cloud infrastructure services, as well as optimizing the post-sale customer journey—from contract execution all the way to invoice generation, payment, renewal, upsell, and contract termination. The role will split responsibilities equally between billing and bottom of funnel operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience post-sale.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, systems design experience, and the ability to manage complex billing processes and integrations while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as RevOps, Commercial Accounting, Sales, GTM leaders, Engineering, and Product. You will work to improve both operational efficiency in billing and customer satisfaction throughout the post-sale lifecycle, driving insights and enhancing overall performance.

If you’re excited about optimizing billing systems, driving revenue operations excellence, and improving post-sale customer outcomes in a high-growth AI-driven cloud infrastructure business, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Billing & Automation: Partner with Revenue Operations, Commercial Accounting, Engineering, and Product teams to design and implement a comprehensive, scalable billing automation platform that accurately reflects customer billing scenarios (usage-based and fixed monthly billing).
  • Month-End Billing Process: Play a key operational role in the month-end billing cycle, ensuring all billing inputs (commercial deliveries, exclusions, exceptions) are accurately reflected in customer invoices, collaborating with Sales, Deal Desk, and other stakeholders to validate contract details, pricing, and terms.
  • System Integrations & Data Flow: Manage integrations between billing-related systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Maxio, Chargify) to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency across platforms.
  • Post-Sale & Bottom of Funnel Optimization: Collaborate with the Solutions Architecture team to optimize customer delivery, POCs/betas, and technical support, ensuring a smooth post-sale experience and improving overall customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Partnership for Renewals/Upsells: Be a key operational partner for GTM teams managing customer renewals, upsells, account management, and business reviews, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving efficiency across customer lifecycle stages.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting: Own data integrity for post-sale and existing customer sales motions, developing and maintaining dashboards for tracking bottom-of-funnel metrics and providing actionable insights to GTM and RevOps leadership.
  • Analytics & Performance Insights: Provide insights and analytics on bottom-of-funnel performance, identifying trends, tracking KPIs, and recommending process improvements to optimize customer renewals, upsells, invoicing, and contract terminations.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Proactively identify operational gaps and opportunities for improvement in the bottom of the sales funnel, working with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that streamline processes, increase efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in billing, revenue operations, or a related finance/operations role, preferably in a cloud infrastructure or SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of billing systems and processes, with experience in tools such as Salesforce, NetSuite, or bespoke billing systems preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights and clear communications.
  • Experience working cross-functionally on building and iterating on features with teams such as Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
  • Familiarity with post-sale customer journey stages, including renewals, upsells, and account management.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain and diagram complex billing scenarios and post-sale processes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong collaborator in a team setting.
  • Experience with cloud billing, usage-based pricing, and fixed-fee contracts is a plus.
