Summary Description
Reporting to the Vice President and COO, the Senior Client Services Manager serves as a key liaison between the company and our clients, ensuring timely and accurate revenue cycle management services. This role is responsible for overseeing daily billing operations, client communication, and offshore team coordination to maintain service quality and meet performance goals. The Senior Client Services Manager builds strong client relationships, resolves complex issues, monitors key metrics such as denial rates and AR aging, and drives process improvement. Additionally, this position will include training, reporting, risk management, and staff development to support organizational compliance and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement RCM strategies to reduce days in A/R, improve cash flow, and minimize denials
- Oversee all components of the RCM process: billing, coding, charge posting, appeals, and patient financial services
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce actionable reports to inform decision-making
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of onshore and offshore RCM personnel
- Collaborate with credentialing, compliance, and IT teams to optimize workflows and integrations
- Serve as the internal expert on anesthesia billing regulations and payer-specific requirements
- Identify revenue trends and proactively address compliance risks
- Support internal audits, payer negotiations, and staff training initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in client services or healthcare consulting
- Experience managing client services teams and operations
- Experience in ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction strongly preferred
