CloudHire is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud AWS Engineer to design and implement cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and TCP/IP protocols
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and understand business requirements
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate infrastructure setup and deployment processes
- Perform system monitoring, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
- Ensure security best practices are implemented and followed in all cloud-based solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AWS infrastructure
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, and evaluate their applicability to our platform
