Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Sales
HubSpot is looking for a Sr. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for our Sales team who will report directly to the SVP of Financial Planning & Analysis. This person will be the leader of the global Sales FP&A team, supporting our Chief Sales Officer and their team. The Sr. Director will drive initiatives with strategic business planning and budgeting as we define and evolve our GTM motions to scale with the company.
This is a hands-on financial management position, playing a lead role in being a strategic business advisor to the business. Leading a strong team, the Sr. Director will be an integral part of providing financial support and thought leadership at scale and helping to accelerate growth of our business as it quickly changes to penetrate AI-driven customer offerings.
You will partner with the Sales team to make sound business decisions. The team focuses on establishing KPIs, corporate forecasting and reporting, and enabling GTM decisions focused on driving growth and long-term ROI.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Help manage the annual financial planning process as it pertains to targets for the Sales organization
- Advise Sales leadership on aligning business, operational, and financial plans with company objectives, defining ROI metrics to drive smarter decisions
- Continue to build a Sales FP&A team that is highly effective, resilient, and is set up to scale
- Contribute leadership and bring new ideas to the broader FP&A leadership team
We are looking for people who have:
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus
- Previous leadership & management experience
- Software/SaaS/technology industry experience
- Sound understanding of the SaaS business model and key metrics and how that flows through the financial statements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong relationship-building skills, including with cross-functional partner organizations
- Strong strategic planning, modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills, comfortable with ambiguity
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Willingness to roll-up your sleeves when work needs to get done
- Experience with Looker/BI tools, NetSuite and Anaplan is a plus
Pay & Benefits
The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

Annual Cash Compensation Range:
$241,000—$386,000 USD
