The Role

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer in the Engagement & Retention division, you will be key in designing and building user-facing features that directly impact customer experience and retention. You will be a hands-on contributor, collaborating closely with the Engineering Manager, Product Manager, and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Our team owns and maintains critical technologies, including a customer-facing dashboard built with React, Node.js, and GraphQL. You’ll help shape technical decisions, mentor junior engineers, and champion best practices in code quality, performance, and maintainability, while continuously seeking opportunities to improve our systems and workflows.

This position will report to the Engineering Manager and is a remote role.

Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery of new product features by working iteratively with the design and product owners to define and deliver new functionality
  • Use monitoring and instrumentation to evaluate the success of your code and maintain quality
  • Work in an agile, data-driven environment and have true ownership of the features you work on, from gathering requirements to delivering results
  • Use data-driven decision making to improve your code (logs, usage analytics, monitoring)

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of software development experience.
  • Experience working on web-based products, collaborating with designers and product managers to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React, Node.js (Fastify), and GraphQL.
  • Demonstrated experience building scalable React applications using functional components, hooks, and modular architecture patterns, while adhering to current best practices including state management, code splitting, and performance optimization.
  • Strong experience with API development, service-oriented architecture, and scalable web applications.
  • Strong understanding of modern front-end and back-end technologies, including performance optimization and observability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts and influence stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in an agile, data-driven environment, leveraging analytics and experimentation to drive decisions.
  • Passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
