The Role You’ll Play
Lead a team of software engineers—mentoring their growth, guiding their craft, and supporting their success
Contribute to our codebase while ensuring your team’s output meets the highest standards of quality and performance
Provide regular feedback, conduct 1:1s, and champion performance conversations that inspire growth
Support onboarding and training for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming ramp-up experience
Partner cross-functionally to drive initiatives, remove blockers, and accelerate delivery
Champion engineering best practices across coding, testing, documentation, and problem-solving
Help shape team culture by creating space for diverse voices, accountability, and shared ownership
Stay current with new tools and approaches, bringing fresh thinking to both technology and team development
Managing collaboration across all engineering and business teams
Spearheading cross-timezone collaboration and fostering a strong remote work culture
Experience You Bring
You’re an experienced engineer turned people leader who loves building high-performing teams and high-quality systems. You’re as passionate about mentoring people as you are about writing great code.
10+ years of experience in software development, including hands-on backend experience
2+ years in an engineering leadership role, with a track record of coaching and growing technical teams
Experience navigating the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and driving delivery across cross-functional teams
Proven ability to give clear feedback and create a culture of trust and continuous improvement
Strong technical grounding in modern backend frameworks; payment domain experience is a plus
Comfortable managing performance, mentoring engineers, and facilitating career development
Thoughtful communicator who can bridge technical and human conversations with ease
