Position Description:
Motus FP&A is looking for an expert finance professional to join the team as a Manager, FP&A. This team member will focus on improving financial tools, business modeling, and financial planning processes and provide financial insights to help drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
Our ideal candidate has outstanding modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills and is looking to join a high-growth SaaS organization. This role will provide the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and a tight-knit Finance team to drive long-term value and help our organization grow and scale at rapid rates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial board packages that include financial reporting and SaaS KPI metrics
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and develop budget vs. actuals commentary, connecting results and KPIs to provide senior leadership transparency into drivers of business performance.
- Build and maintain financial dashboards and reports for internal and external collaborators.
- Use financial and operational data to build sophisticated financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation and budgetary controls.
- Perform Ad hoc support for strategic planning and business case analysis to support the business.
- Process improvement: Own the implementation and adoption of future-forward FP&A and analytics tools and processes.
- Assist with M&A diligence efforts (identifying synergies, integration planning, etc.)
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA is preferred
- 3+ years of prior experience, ideally in FP&A at a high-growth private equity-backed SaaS company
- Experience using Adaptive Planning (required)
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis and expert-level skills using Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong sense of personal and professional ethics; strict adherence to guidelines surrounding sensitive information and confidentiality
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- High degree of self-motivation and personal drive; able to work independently in a remote work environment
- Able to balance multiple priorities, work cross-functionally, and meet tight deadlines
Where required by law, Motus provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The pay range for this role is $130,000 - $145,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
