Position Description:
The Senior Manager, Revenue Operations & Analytics is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of data analytics and revenue operations across the GTM organization, including Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Renewals, and Account Management. Reporting directly to the VP of RevOps & Analytics, this role is pivotal in scaling analytics capabilities, driving operational efficiency, and enabling data-driven decision-making in a high-growth SaaS environment. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a strong background in revenue operations, advanced analytics, and process optimization, capable of steering complex cross-functional initiatives that accelerate revenue growth.
Position Duties:
Strategic Data Management & Governance:
- Define and execute the RevOps data strategy, ensuring flawless data flow and integration across Salesforce, Marketing Automation Platforms, and BI Tools.
- Lead data governance and standardization efforts to maintain high-quality, compliant, and accurate data.
- Oversee the architecture of scalable data models to improve forecasting, revenue attribution, and customer health analysis.
- Drive initiatives for predictive analytics and machine learning models that optimize lead scoring, churn prediction, upsell opportunities, and revenue forecasting.
Advanced Analytics & Business Insights:
- Develop and manage executive-level dashboards and reporting for real-time awareness of pipeline health, sales velocity, conversion rates, and renewals.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify revenue opportunities, optimize lead funnels, and improve GTM performance.
- Partner with Finance to deliver actionable insights around ARR, ACV, LTV, and CAC metrics, aligning them with company growth objectives.
- Build predictive models to forecast revenue growth, account expansions, and retention risks.
Revenue Operations & Process Optimization:
- Own end-to-end revenue operations processes, including lead-to-cash, deal desk management, and sales forecasting.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in sales and revenue workflows; implement scalable solutions.
- Partner with GTM leaders to optimize processes, streamline deal cycles, and improve sales productivity.
- Lead automation initiatives to enhance data accuracy, reduce manual work, and improve operational scalability.
Commissions Strategy & Planning:
- Be responsible for the design and optimization of scalable commission plans for SDRs, AEs, Renewals, and Account Managers.
- Ensure alignment of commission structures with revenue targets and GTM strategy.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate tracking, calculations, and timely payouts.
- Analyze compensation models to optimize cost-efficiency while driving performance.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analysts and system administrators, encouraging a culture of analytical excellence and operational efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success leaders on revenue analytics and operations.
- Drive cross-functional projects that improve transparency, scalability, and predictability of revenue streams.
- Represent the RevOps function in executive meetings, delivering insights and recommendations for strategic growth.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in Revenue Operations or Business Analytics within a SaaS environment, with at least 2 years in a people leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, marketing automation platforms, BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker), and SQL.
- Shown experience in predictive analytics modeling, statistical analysis, and revenue forecasting.
- Strong understanding of GTM motions, pipeline management, demand generation, and renewal forecasting.
- Proficiency in designing scalable compensation and commission plans.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects and driving operational excellence.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
Where required by law, Motus provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The pay range for this role is $125,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
