Welcome to HomeBuddy, where making a home awesome is like seeing a vision come to life! We are on a mission to create a friendly and trusted platform to connect homeowners with the right contractors across the US.

What started as a small idea has become a fast-growing home improvement platform focusing on lead quality and long-term partnerships based on trust and mutual success. We are a product-first company with a long-term outlook - our platform consistently and positively evolves based on data insights and the most up-to-date tools.

This job is for you if

  • You would like to work in a positive atmosphere where teamwork and trust in your colleagues are primary values.
  • You succeed in an environment that values initiative and sharing feedback and where your suggestions and efforts are recognized and appreciated.
  • You are used to taking responsibility for solving difficult tasks and are directly involved in how your efforts impact the final result.

This role is full-time and offers home working flexibility.

Your future tasks will include

  • Conducting various analyses to identify product growth opportunities, including funnel analysis, user behavior analysis, and market trend analysis.
  • Creating and executing comprehensive, data-driven growth strategies that align with business goals and focus on improving key growth metrics.
  • Designing, conducting and analyzing A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses.
  • Conducting user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and motivations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with the data department to design measurement frameworks, set hypotheses, and validate features through data analysis.
  • Effectively communicating with stakeholders (product teams, business leaders, development team, data engineers, marketing) to ensure alignment. Facilitating planning activities, gathering feedback, and keeping everyone updated. Ensuring transparency through regular communication of progress and delivered outcomes.
  • Managing and mitigating the feasibility, profitability, demand, legal, and other non-technical risks.
  • Leading solution discovery together with the development team, collaboratively identifying and validating the most effective approaches to address user needs and business goals. Ensuring that solutions are effectively delivered to end users.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior and middle product managers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

You’re going to need this to be successful in this role

  • At least 3+ years of experience in Growth Product Management or 5+ years of experience in Product Management in B2C products. Experience with marketplaces is a strong plus.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and positively impacting key business metrics through product initiatives and experimentation. Experience with acquisition, activation and monetization is a strong plus.
  • Experience designing and running experiments, and analyzing data to make informed product decisions. Hands-on A/B testing experience is a must.
  • Deep understanding of user research methodologies (such as surveys, interviews, usability testing, and customer journey mapping) and the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Skills to perform exploratory data analysis, data mining, and statistical analysis, or at least the ability to ask meaningful questions about data and effectively formulate tasks for data analysts.
  • Technical proficiency at the level required for effective communication with software developers and data engineers.
  • Excellent storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, strategies, and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of Agile practices and the ability to mentor others in Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to think and work independently, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal & written English communication skills (at least C1).
