As the Senior Manager, Clinical Contract Management, you will be responsible for the full clinical supplier contract lifecycle and ongoing management of various types of clinical agreements.  You will partner closely with internal stakeholders (clinical study teams, Legal, Finance, Compliance) and third parties (clinical research organizations, vendors, consultants) to develop and manage the execution of a variety of clinical contracts while applying legal, contracting, and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, negotiate, and oversee the full clinical contract lifecycle for a variety of complex vendor/supplier (HCP and non-HCP) contracts and budgets, including analysis and negotiation (e.g., third-party clinical agreements, master service agreements, and/or “fee-for-service” vendor/supplier contracts including the RFP process) utilizing appropriate Neumora systems
  • Assess need for complex contract and budget amendments and provide guidance to stakeholders, make recommendations, and/or negotiate pricing and changes to terms and conditions while mitigating risks to the company
  • Draft RFP templates for new projects and analyze supplier bids, providing feedback and making recommendations to management and study teams
  • Project lead identification, qualification, and selection of new clinical suppliers and vendors
  • Serve as project and/or subject matter expert (SME) for business unit and organizational initiatives
  • Train, guide, and mentor team members on clinical and supplier contracts, site and supplier budgets, and the RFP process
  • Escalate contract delays, external and internal issues, and hurdles in a timely manner to leadership and key stakeholders and suggest solutions
  • Provide input on legal-owned contract templates
  • Develops study budgets using software systems to produce early estimates
  • May act as a department representative for special project and core/study team meetings

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in business administration, finance, science or related field or equivalent on-the-job experience may be considered; advanced degree a plus
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical services with 2+ years of contract management and/or study start-up activities including contract negotiations and management
  • High degree of organizational, analytical, and team management skills
  • Ability to handle complex budgets
  • Computer literacy with document and spreadsheet applications
  • Ability to work on complex, multi-faceted projects
  • Proven negotiation skills and vast knowledge of clinical trial agreements
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities rapidly to meet tight deadlines

The salary range posted describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed.  Actual salary may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Base Salary Range: $158,637- $177,817
