Job description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal with a strong background in employment and U.S labor law to join our growing legal team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the development of our legal tech product, and helping us deliver accurate, up-to-date legal information to our customers.
You’ll work closely with attorneys, product managers, and content specialists to ensure our platform reflects current legal standards and serves as a trusted resource for employment law compliance for HR professionals.
Responsibilities may include:
● Respond to customer legal queries in a clear, professional, and timely manner based on SLA requirements
● Develop and maintain legal content, including templates, policies, how-to guides, checklists, FAQs, articles, etc, tailored to employment and labor law for HR professionals
● Conduct quality assurance reviews of legal content and data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity
● Monitor, track, and report on changes to federal, state, and local employment and labor laws
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, to incorporate legal insights into the platform
● Support legal research, documentation, and process improvements to enhance product reliability and customer trust.

● A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or 4 years of work experience in lieu
● 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, with at least 3 years focused on employment and U.S labor law
● Solid understanding of U.S. employment laws and regulatory requirements (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC guidelines), along with multi-state compliance
● Exceptional legal research, writing, and editing skills
● High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
● Experience translating complex legal concepts into user-friendly language and formats
● Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment
● Tech-savvy; comfortable using tools, such as legal research databases
● Fluent in English, with strong written and oral communication skills
● Familiarity with legal technology or compliance platforms products is a plus
● Experience working with or advising HR or compliance teams is a plus
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM PHT
