The role:
As a Senior Product Designer, you are responsible for creating user-centered design solutions that elevate the user experience and align with business goals. You collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to design intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging interfaces across platforms. In this role, you leverage your extensive design expertise to tackle complex challenges and drive innovation, ensuring that each product delivers both aesthetic and functional value. You also take on a leadership role within the design team, mentoring junior designers and contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes and tools.

What you do each day:
- Leader across the organization, for specific product area and across vertical
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define user requirements, translate them into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and improve the user experience
- Drive strategic contribution to the design system evolution, ensuring consistency across all products and platforms
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and business objectives, refining solutions to maximize impact
- Present design strategies, concepts, and progress to senior leadership, ensuring alignment and buy-in for major design initiatives
- Mentor and support junior designers, providing constructive feedback to elevate the overall design output
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and industry best practices, integrating them into the design process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of design solutions
- Proactively identify and solve complex design challenges, ensuring both functional and aesthetic success
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing design expertise across various platforms
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools (i.e., InVision, Marvel)
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with and maintaining design systems, ensuring consistency across large projects
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and accessibility best practices

Location Dependent Information
This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $111,000 - $138,000 + Equity. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
