Hi, we’re Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We were the first company to tokenize exposure to US Treasuries, and have since expanded into several other assets. We are also focused on incubating protocols that can support both tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto.

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead a large new initiative for Ondo Finance. We are building core 0-1 web3 infrastructure to become the world’s foremost Real World Asset (RWA) blockchain platform - ensuring we can meet the performance, security, and functionality requirements of 3rd party institutions and developers/protocols building on top of Ondo.
This role is primarily a developer-facing role, with some consumer-facing scope as well. It requires not only a deep knowledge of modern DeFi protocols, but also some expertise on the architecture and ecosystem decisions behind key L1 and L2 blockchains. You should already be deep in web3 and have relevant work or founder experience - this role is not for those looking for a first job in the space. Bonus points for those with direct experience working on Cosmos SDK or for a L1/L2 blockchain.
This person will report to the VP of Product and have an opportunity to heavily influence Ondo’s largest infrastructure bet to date, and help define its requirements and build out an ecosystem around it leading up to its launch. This person should be very comfortable working with Engineering, Security and Operations to define requirements and success for key developer-facing infrastructure.
Responsibilities
•Own, scope and execute on a roadmap to bring to life novel, 0 to 1 RWA web3 infrastructure for Ondo. Ruthlessly prioritize to ship a MVP by end of year and continue iterating based off of developer and user feedback
•Work with existing web3 protocols, new web3 and web2 developers & institutions to empathize with pain points and interpret feature requests for new Ondo infrastructure
•Define a world-class developer experience for new Ondo infrastructure/protocols and drive initiatives to realize this vision
•Use metrics, ecosystem/industry trends, and insights from developers and consumers to identify and execute on new opportunities for the protocol
•Have the product and technical depth to help update external developer docs & debug with 3rd party developers when necessary
•Help define the evolution of Ondo DAO governance
Requirements:
•4+ years of full-time product management or founder experience shipping products to developers or end users
•1+ years of full-time product management or founder experience within web3 or crypto, preferably a L1 or L2 blockchain or DeFi protocol
•Based in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones
•Bachelor’s degree or significant coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
•Familiarity with the Real-World Asset space and DeFi protocols
•Familiarity with smart contract development, blockchain protocols, and blockchain virtual machines
•Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills, verbal and written
•Experience working closely with Engineering and other cross-functional teams (ex. Dev Rel, BD, Operations) to lead and define product strategy and roadmap
•Strong ownership mentality and ability to execute in fast-paced, ambiguous circumstances
Nice to haves:
•1+ years of full-time web3 product management experience on a L1/L2 blockchain or DeFi protocol
•1+ years as a full-time software engineer on a L1/L2 blockchain or DeFi protocol
•Has shipped at least 1 developer-facing product to scale
•Familiarity with the Cosmos SDK and ecosystem tools
