Job description

Senior Product Manager – Remote (U.S. Only)

About Key Data:

Key Data is the most trusted platform for short-term rental (“STR”) market data. With data sourced directly from our co-op of millions of vacation rental properties worldwide, OTA’s, and hotels, we create market and property-level intelligence for the vacation rental industry, destinations, hoteliers, and investors.

Key Data is an Inc. 5000 recipient, given to America’s fastest-growing companies, and we’ve been recognized throughout the travel industry with awards for innovation and service. Our all-remote team ranked us as a “best in class” place to work.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our growing Product team (4 PMs + Chief Product Officer) and own the roadmap, ideation, and execution for Key Data’s dashboard products. This individual will translate customer needs into product briefs, wireframes, and go-to-market plans - working cross-functionally with Customer Service, Professional Services/PSM, UX/UI, Development, QA, and the GTM teams. The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of SaaS product management experience (preferably in BI or data visualization), a solid understanding of AI-enabled tools, and a track record of driving adoption, retention, and feature-usage growth.

What You’ll Do

Gather and Synthesize Feedback

  • Partner closely with Customer Service and PSM teams to collect, triage, and analyze qualitative and quantitative customer feedback.

  • Translate feedback into compelling product briefs that solve core customer problems (e.g., BI reporting gaps, benchmarking needs).

Ideation & Conceptualization

  • Lead ideation sessions to conceptualize new features or enhancements—running wireframe sketches, mockups, or low-fidelity prototypes before handing off to UX/UI.

  • Ensure user-centric design by validating ideas through customer interviews, usability tests, and data analysis.

Leverage AI-Enabled Tools

  • Stay informed on AI/ML best practices and recommend how AI-powered analytics or predictive features could enhance our dashboards.

  • Collaborate with data teams to incorporate AI insights (e.g., anomaly detection, forecasting) into product proposals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with a dedicated Project Manager who allocates Development, UX, and UI resources for this product.

  • Serve as the central point of contact between UX/UI designers, software engineers, QA, and the GTM (Sales/Marketing) teams to ensure smooth Launches.

  • Partner with GTM stakeholders to craft go-to-market plans, positioning, and training materials for new dashboard releases.

Measure & Iterate

  • Work with PSM to track key metrics—user adoption, feature-usage growth, NPS, retention—and iterate on product priorities to optimize those KPIs.

  • Run A/B tests or pilots as needed to validate feature impact.

Manage and Triage Customer Requested Enhancements and Bugs

  • Triage critical issues or bug reports with QA and Engineering, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Manage enhancement requests

Champion a Bias for Action

  • Proactively identify gaps in processes or opportunities for rapid improvement—removing blockers and driving swift decisions.

  • Help create a culture of continuous delivery and customer-obsessed innovation within the Product team.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on SaaS Product Management, ideally with BI or data visualization products.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive product adoption, feature usage growth, and positive shifts in NPS and retention.

  • Strong understanding of AI-enabled tools and how they can be applied to BI or analytics products.

  • Comfort with SQL or similar analytics tools, and familiarity with dashboard platforms (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

  • Skilled at writing clear product briefs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Expertise in wireframing tools (Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq, etc.) to create early mockups.

  • Solid understanding of Agile/sprint methodologies, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.

  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with Customer Success, Professional Services/PSM, UX/UI, Engineering, QA, and GTM (Sales/Marketing) teams.

  • A self-starter who can move quickly from idea to execution, unblock colleagues, and keep projects on schedule.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.

  • Successful track record of working in a fully remote environment, coordinating across multiple time zones (CST overlap preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Jira/Aha/Clickup or similar roadmapping tools; hands-on experience with analytics platforms (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a bonus.

  • Experience collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing on positioning, launch plans, and enablement.

  • Bonus Skills: Familiarity with advanced data modeling techniques, predictive analytics, or other AI/ML pipelines.

Why Join Key Data?

  • Impact at Scale: Your work will directly influence how thousands of professional property managers and enterprise clients interpret their data and make critical decisions.

  • Collaborative Culture: Join a growing team that values open communication, data- driven decision-making, and rapid iteration.

  • Growth Opportunities: As part of a growing Product team, you’ll have broad ownership and the chance to mentor more junior PMs over time.

  • Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans; 401(k) matching; professional development stipend; generous PTO.
