We’re scaling and we’re looking for an experienced, like-minded Sourcer who can hunt like hell, think like a strategist, and write like a human.
About the Role
We’re looking for a high initiative, deeply curious, and technically sharp Sourcer to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. You’ll decode client needs, bend LinkedIn Recruiter to your will, and craft messages candidates can’t ignore. You’ll report to and learn from the CEO. What you’ll do:
Lead top-of-funnel search strategy across 5–10 varied non-technical roles at a time
Uncover clients’ requirements and translate criteria into candidate personas and search queries
Hypothesize and test your boolean searches in an organized and methodical way
Use tools like ChatGPT and Crunchbase to expand your keywords, shorten learning curves, and identify target companies
Write outreach that cuts through the noise and compels action (we love a good InMail template that sounds unique to the candidate)
Manage the pipeline: triage roles (garbage in = garbage out), set pace, and re-prioritize in real-time
Act as an advisor on intake calls: ask valuable questions, surface blind spots, and leave clients feeling like we’ve tapped into their brain
Set up new roles in our ATS, Ashby
You Might Be a Fit If You:
Have 5+ years of experience in a high-growth recruiting environment (agency, startup, or scrappy solopreneur land)
Can build LinkedIn Recruiter searches with your eyes closed
Assess profile fit at the speed of light once you’ve hit your groove
Have a credible LinkedIn presence—and maybe even opinions about talent acquisition branding
Love sourcing more than screening (but can do both when needed)
Get a high from cracking hard searches
Have led or mentored others and enjoy thinking at a systems level
Can ride the highs and lows of sourcing with a sense of humor and a bias for action
Believe every day matters when it comes to closing a role, and operate with appropriate urgency
