Job description

As a Senior QA Automation Lead, you will lead the quality assurance strategy across teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our web and software products. You will mentor QA engineers, drive automation initiatives, and collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to align QA efforts with company goals. Your leadership will help define best practices, elevate QA standards, and guide the team in delivering a seamless and high-quality user experience.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading the QA Automation team in defining and implementing testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices across all projects.

  • Driving test planning, prioritization, and execution of both manual and automated testing across frontend, backend, and mobile systems.

  • Overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, reusable automated test scripts that simulate end-to-end user interactions across platforms.

  • Monitoring automation test coverage and execution results, ensuring issues are identified early and release cycles are efficient and reliable.

  • Reviewing test results and quality metrics, preparing leadership-level reports and recommendations for quality improvements and risk mitigation.

  • Maintaining and enhancing the automation framework, testing tools, and CI/CD integrations to support continuous testing.

  • Mentoring QA engineers and fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning within the QA team.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes seamlessly into the development lifecycle and release workflows.

  • Proactively identifying gaps in quality processes and leading initiatives for operational excellence and innovation in QA practices.

  • Exploring and integrating AI-driven testing solutions to enhance automation efficiency, such as intelligent test generation, self-healing scripts, and predictive defect detection.

  • With at least 5+ years experience in both manual and automation testing and at least 1 year experience in leading a team.

  • Development and execution of test plans and scenarios

  • Experience in writing automated tests in Selenium, Cypress, and Appium, Robot Framework

  • Testing complex GUIs, APIs, and platforms

  • Source control management like Git, Bitbucket, etc.
