*We are looking for Poland based candidate. The job is Hybrid and requires some trips to London or Warsaw at the beginning. Warsaw (+nearby) based candidate is preferred.

THINGS YOU WILL DO

  • Lead quality assurance processes for capital market systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality, performance, and security.
  • Design and execute detailed test plans, cases, and scripts to verify the accuracy and efficiency of new software releases and product enhancements in capital market applications.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, and product owners to ensure the QA process integrates seamlessly into the software development lifecycle.
  • Manage test environments, ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and execution of tests in a secure and regulated environment.
  • Provide mentorship to junior QA engineers, guiding them through best practices, processes, and methodologies within the capital markets domain.
  • Conduct performance, stress, and regression testing on trading, risk management, and financial transaction systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and financial standards through thorough QA testing.

  • Languages: C# .NET, JavaScript (React)
  • Testing Tools: Cypress/ Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, JIRA
  • CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab, Maven
  • Version Control: Git
  • Performance Testing: LoadRunner, JMeter, Lotus
  • Cloud: AWS
  • Databases: NoSQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
  • Other: Agile, DevOps, Microservices architecture

MUST HAVE: Proven experience in Quality Assurance within capital markets, trading platforms, or financial services applications.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  •  5+ years of hands-on experience in QA and testing within the financial or capital markets domain.
  • Strong proficiency in writing and executing automated and manual tests for complex financial systems.
  • In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle, with a focus on Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple systems.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and other teams.
  • Proven experience in risk-based testing and prioritizing tests based on business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
