This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

Our mission is to help small businesses succeed online, on social media, and in the real world by developing intuitive website-building tools. We are seeking a full-stack software engineer who is proficient in web technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and React. As a full-stack engineer, you will be responsible for both client-side development and server-side API development and integration.

What you’ll get to do…

  • Help build highly scalable products that help small businesses succeed online with great user experience.
  • Work on a remote team of software engineers, product managers, user-experience designers, and data scientists in a supportive environment.
  • Write well-tested, modern JavaScript / TypeScript using frameworks like React, NodeJS, and Express.
  • Deliver a great customer experience through experimentation and data, solving problems from the front end to the back end .
  • Embrace Agile methodologies to release and deploy the iterations of our services continuously.
  • Help establish and monitor metrics to ensure product and customer success, including real-time application monitoring and performance profiling of our applications.

Your experience should include…

  • 2+  years of professional experience building products and services.
  • A strong understanding of JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, React, and the underlying standard web technologies.
  • Experience with automated testing code and using test frameworks.
  • A good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A desire to develop elegant solutions for real-world small business problems.
  • A sense of curiosity and always striving to learn.

You might also have…

  • A BS or MS in a computer science, information system, UX, or related industry experience.
  • Contributed to or managed open-source projects.
  • Prior work experience with AWS.
