strong level of digital innovation was available to B2B organizations. Zaelab LLC. In Westport,
CT seeks Senior Software Engineer to troubleshoot bugs and issues during whole cycle of
project development.
Job responsibilities and duties include:
Transform business and technical requirements into quality code and features;
Cover code with efficient unit tests to meet and exceed our high-quality code standards;
Implement bug fixes on a designated client project, identify root causes of the bugs;
Participate in code reviews on daily basis and provide valuable feedback to other engineers;
Work closely with team to ensure proper implementation of project functionality;
Actively participate in team meetings; brainstorm activities related to the project issues;
Follow Java development standards and best practices;
Work with Solution Architect to transform high-level designs into coded solutions;
Develop microservices to support modern composable architectures;
Become a certified developer for Commercetools commerce platform;
Be a strong team player focused on collaboration and continuous integration.
This position does not supervise other employees.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any related field of study and
3 years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the experience
was gained.
In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, employer will
accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any related field of
study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any
related position(s) in which the experience was gained.
Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:
- eCommerce software such as SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or VTEX.
- Modern architectures: cloud-native and micro-services.
- eCommerce space.
- Front End solutions and integrations of JQuery, NodeJS and AngularJS.
- B2C, B2B e-commerce.
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- GitLab CI/CD.
- Java., JavaScript.
- Web Development (HTML 5, CSS3).
