Senior Systems Administrator
This is a contract-to-perm opportunity.
This is a fully remote role (preference for candidates local to Marlborough, MA).
About this Position
We’re looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to support business operations within a logistics group. This is a unique opportunity for a technical professional with strong project management and systems experience who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams. You’ll handle system testing, issue resolution, documentation, and drive continuous improvement alongside business and IT partners. If you have a logistics or retail background and thrive in detail-oriented environments, this could be the right fit for you.
Job Responsibilities
Support application deployments and onboarding processes.
Manage post-change validations to ensure updates meet business needs.
Collaborate with IT to test and communicate system patches and upgrades.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by end-users.
Create and maintain documentation for new processes, SOPs, and key business decisions.
Coordinate efforts across Logistics, IT, and vendors to resolve system-related issues.
Lead and support project management tasks on large initiatives, holding stakeholders accountable to timelines.
Facilitate continuous improvement efforts to enhance functionality and efficiency.
Skills/Requirements
10+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines and collaborate across teams.
Hands-on experience with system testing, issue tracking, and stakeholder communication.
Experience with trade compliance systems (e.g., Datacart) is a plus.
Logistics and/or retail industry experience preferred.
Preference for candidates with longer tenures at previous roles.
Additional Information
Fully remote; candidates in the Marlborough, MA area may be asked to come into the office quarterly.
Contract-to-perm opportunity with long-term potential.

Using a client-custom system; prior experience with similar platforms is helpful.
Pay Range:
$50–$55/hour
