Job description
Our Journey at Keep
At Keep, we embarked on a mission with a powerful question: Why hasn’t the banking experience caught up with the rapid pace of technology?
This continues to fuel our passion for reshaping the Canadian fintech landscape. We provide businesses with a comprehensive suite of cross-border banking services, offering everything from credit cards to deposit accounts, currency conversions, and revenue financing.
With a team of seasoned global startup veterans with successful exits, Keep is committed to leading the charge as Canada’s next-generation fintech institution. Backed by VCs in the fintech sector, we’re racing ahead, expanding our reach and impact like never before.
About the Role
Join Keep as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, where your expertise in recruiting senior-level GTM and Business talent will be pivotal to our growth. You’ll own strategic hiring initiatives, partner closely with stakeholders, and help drive the evolution of our recruitment processes. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy building strong partnerships with hiring managers, and are energized by working in a dynamic fintech startup, this is your opportunity to make a major impact.
Who We’re Looking For
You have strong experience recruiting for senior GTM and Business roles, ideally within startups or fast-paced environments.
You’re confident working directly with leadership, managing stakeholders effectively, and proposing strategic hiring plans.
You’re comfortable adapting to shifting priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture.
You understand fintech, go-to-market strategies, and business operations—or you’re excited to dive deep and learn.
You approach talent acquisition with a strategic mindset, not just as filling roles, but as building teams that fuel company growth.
You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Recruitment Strategy: Own and optimize end-to-end recruitment for GTM and Business senior roles, ensuring a balance between speed and quality.
Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate closely with hiring managers, providing guidance on role scoping, market insights, and process improvements.
Talent Sourcing: Actively source and engage top talent, leveraging multiple channels and creative outreach strategies.
Candidate Screening and Assessment: Conduct initial interviews focused on alignment with Keep’s culture, role requirements, and leadership expectations.
Funnel Management: Maintain a healthy pipeline, ensure fast-moving processes, and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Continuously refine the recruitment process to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes.
Project Management: Lead project-based hiring initiatives, including senior leadership roles, and adjust strategies based on business needs.
Candidate Experience: Ensure every candidate, whether hired or not, has a professional and positive experience throughout the process.
Why You Should be Excited About This Role
Play a significant role in shaping the leadership and future success of one of Canada’s fastest-growing fintech startups.
Partner closely with executive leadership and have direct visibility into the company’s strategic goals.
Work in a dynamic environment where your ideas for improving the recruiting process are welcomed and valued.
Help redefine talent acquisition in a fast-moving, highly impactful fintech environment.
Join a culture that values innovation, collaboration, autonomy, and continuous learning.
Why Join Keep?
We’re a fintech startup building a financial ecosystem for SMBs, driven by data and customer needs.
Be part of a team that’s rewriting the playbook for financial services in Canada.
Work with talented, mission-driven teammates who care deeply about innovation and growth.
Enjoy a fully remote-friendly, inclusive work culture that values diversity, flexibility, and work-life balance.
Help reshape how businesses experience modern banking solutions across borders.
Why This Might Not Be a Good Fit
If you prefer highly structured, rigid recruitment processes, our evolving and agile environment may feel overwhelming.
If you’re uncomfortable with direct, fast-paced communication styles, you might find our culture intense.
If you seek static roles with minimal change, Keep’s dynamic, high-growth trajectory might be challenging.
Collaboration is essential at Keep—if you prefer working independently without much team engagement, our approach might not align with your style.
What’s the Interview Process Like?
Initial Screening with Bash (30 min): A conversation to understand your background, experience, and how well you align with our team and company culture.
Hiring Manager Interview with Deisy , Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (45 min): A hands-on discussion focused on your recruiting experience, sourcing strategies, stakeholder management, and alignment with our hiring approach.
CRO Screening with Serkan (30 min): A conversation with our Chief Revenue Officer to align on expectations for senior GTM and Business hiring, and to explore collaboration style across leadership teams.
Project Presentation (60 min): Showcase your skills by presenting a project focused on hiring strategies for leadership roles, problem-solving approaches, and stakeholder management.
