We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer who is passionate about automation and quality engineering. You will play a key role in designing and implementing automated test solutions to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our products. This role requires deep expertise in Python, Selenium, Playwright, and Pytest, along with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
You’ll be working in an Agile environment alongside developers, QA engineers, and product managers to drive quality from concept to release.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain robust automated test suites using Selenium, Playwright, and Pytest in Python
Develop end-to-end, functional, regression, and integration tests across web and backend systems
Collaborate with developers and QA peers to define test strategies and identify automation opportunities
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast, reliable feedback on code changes
Own the quality of deliverables through thoughtful test design, execution, and defect analysis
Perform manual testing when needed to support exploratory efforts and validate edge cases
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with a focus on test automation
Proficient in Python for test automation
Solid experience with Selenium and Playwright for web UI testing
Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
Experience working with REST APIs and validating them using tools like Postman, REST-assured, or Python requests libraries
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and integrating test automation
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills across the test stack
Effective communicator with the ability to work in a cross-functional, agile team environment
Desirable:
Experience of Pytest framework
Experience in Linux environments, scripting, and CLI-based testing
Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) for managing test environments
Exposure to performance or load testing tools (e.g. JMeter, Locust)
Background in cybersecurity or testing security-focused applications is a plus
