Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Senior Vice President, Global Supply, reporting into our Chief Supply Chain Officer, you will oversee and manage all aspects of our global supply operations, including raw materials sourcing, finished goods sourcing, supplier relationship management, supplier onboarding, quality and compliance, costing, and finished good manufacturing. You will personally shape and lead the organizational changes required to transform our current global supply functions into a robust and cohesive global supply organization that fosters the culture and values that align and meet our brand’s quality and sustainability goals, while promoting efficiency, innovation, and excellence in our global supply across diverse geographies and market conditions.
This role will be based hybrid out of our North Vancouver office with frequent travel. Arc’teryx would relocate and provide a working visa to the right candidate. As a secondary option Arc’teryx is open to this role working remote with very frequent travel to the North Vancouver office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking responsibility and ownership of Arc’teryx global supply strategy and leading the evolution of a comprehensive, long-term strategy that amplifies operational excellence as our organization expands and becomes more complex on a global scale
- Formulating and leading the execution of our global supply five-year roadmap, including the planning and execution of phasing year by year in support of organizational readiness and leading team members around the globe to drive and achieve the plan from multi-perspectives
- Acting as the enterprise leader of global supply functions for the end to end and life cycle strategies including the sourcing of the raw materials and finished goods from global suppliers, procurement, onboarding of suppliers and factories, quality standard and compliance requirements for all sourced materials and products, and development and management of the cost structure for raw materials and finished goods to achieve financial targets.
- Formulating and leading the execution of our global supply strategy and its execution to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality finished goods aligned with our organizational targets and stretch goals.
- Act as the cultural leader of global supply for the organization, fostering trust and transparency of our sourcing and procurement practices throughout the company and acting as an ambassador for Arc’teryx’s core values and behaviors alongside.
- Defining and directing forward-thinking end-to-end metrics for global supply and ensuring consistent, credible reporting and analysis aligned to our business objectives, quality standards, sustainability goals, and cost savings without compromising our standards.
- Partnering with Supply Chain leadership, including from our product development and sustainability teams, and cross functional Arc’teryx leadership to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Holding the accountability of the monitoring of market trends and adjusting sourcing strategies to mitigate risks related to supply disruptions and price fluctuations.
- Fostering strong partnerships with suppliers to promote collaboration and innovation.
- Collaborating with our Sustainability leader and cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability principles into our global supply.
- Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in materials that can enhance product offerings and supply chain efficiency.

Are you our next Senior Vice President, Global Supply?
- You have 15+ years’ leadership experience in global supply chain management, with experience in raw materials and finished goods sourcing and procurement. High performance or high-end apparel background.
- You have a proven track record in developing and leading the execution of a multi-year business strategy
- You have successful experience as an enterprise leader and have led high-performance teams within a scaling and accelerated growth organization
- You understand the difference between your “first team” and your functional team and have an awareness when you are operating above or below the line
- You have proven innovation & opportunity identification translated to tangible initiatives and successful execution of projects
- You lean into evolving technology and understand the importance and tension of organizational readiness and breakthroughs
- You have a track record of success in the rigorous planning, execution and timely delivery of enterprise level global supply projects and programs
- You have strong business acumen, with the ability to lead in a complex matrix business environment
- You have proven people leadership skills and the ability to build, coach and guide a diverse and high performing team
- You have strong influential leadership, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the business
- You set a clear vision, align your team around common objectives, and foster commitment to these objectives
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity

- Proven track record of leadership in complex and dynamic supply chain environments.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
$280,000 - $385,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$280,000 - CAD$385,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
