At Pavago, we are hiring an SEO and Web Specialist to support our client, a fast-growing digital marketing agency committed to delivering impactful SEO and web solutions. In this foundational role, you’ll manage website optimization efforts, improve digital performance through analytics, and maintain web platforms like Shopify and WordPress. You will work independently with clear communication, structured workflows, and a growth-driven mindset.

This is a high-responsibility position ideal for someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving problems in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities:

SEO Management & Optimization

โ€ข Manage ongoing SEO tasks for multiple clients using best practices to improve rankings, traffic, and visibility.

โ€ข Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization, link-building strategies, and performance monitoring.

Web Platform Management

โ€ข Update and maintain client websites primarily on Shopify, WordPress, and Cloudways.

โ€ข Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and implement improvements as needed.

Analytics & Insights

โ€ข Monitor and interpret data from Google Analytics and Google Search Console to inform SEO strategy.

โ€ข Prepare reports highlighting actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.

Client & Team Communication

โ€ข Participate in regular check-ins with clients and internal team via Slack, Gmail, and Notion.

โ€ข Maintain clear documentation and task tracking using tools like Notion and Toggl.

Special Projects & Efficiency Improvements

โ€ข Assist with recurring and ad-hoc web and SEO-related projects.

โ€ข Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and enhance digital performance.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 2+ years of SEO and web management experience, preferably with agency or multi-client environments.
  • Strong experience with Shopify, WordPress, and Cloudways platforms.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog.
  • Strong organizational skills and time tracking using tools like Toggl.
  • Ability to write clearly and creatively (a big plus).
  • Effective communicator in a remote-first team using tools like Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, and Notion.
  • Strong multitasking and deadline management in a fast-paced environment.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like ?

Youโ€™ll begin the day by reviewing your task list and checking in with the team to align priorities. From there, your work will include running SEO audits, optimizing site content, and managing updates on platforms like Shopify and WordPress. Throughout the day, youโ€™ll track your time in Toggl, collaborate with your team via Slack and Notion, and report insights from Google Analytics and Search Console. You’ll take initiative in identifying bottlenecks, suggesting process improvements, and ensuring the highest quality in every deliverable.
