How will you make a difference?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive senior-level experience (6+ years) leading, architecting, and guiding complex DevOps transformations and infrastructure evolution
- Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Networking and IAM
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager) for provisioning and managing GCP resources
- Solid Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Solid Experience with monitoring and logging tools specific to GCP (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience with some programming languages (preferably Typescript, JS, Go or Python)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- A strong preference for working in agile and dynamic environments
- Expertise in fostering teamwork, enabling effective collaboration and synergy across teams for continuous improvement
What will you do?
- Manage the deployment, configuration, and scaling of various mobile and web application backends across different GCP services.
- Develop and maintain automation tools, scripts, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using relevant languages (e.g., Python, Go, or TypeScript where applicable for infrastructure scripting) to provision and manage GCP resources.
- Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Implement and refine monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using GCP’s native tools and other relevant solutions to ensure maximum availability, performance, and reliability of our mobile application backends.
- Collaborate closely with mobile, web and backend development teams to define and implement best practices for deployment, performance optimization, and observability of mobile backends on GCP.
- Ensure that security best practices are followed in the configuration of GCP infrastructure and deployment pipelines for mobile backends.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation on deployment architecture, processes, and troubleshooting guides specific to our mobile backend infrastructure on GCP.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to our GCP infrastructure and DevOps processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Location
You’ll have the flexibility to choose whether you’d like to come to the office every day, from time to time, or work fully remote. We want you to find the best combination for you.
