Our client is the pastry chef and creative force behind ByGigi , a studio dedicated to transforming cakes into edible art. An accomplished pastry chef and cake designer, she built her career alongside some of Australia’s top pastry chefs and award-winning venues. She first rose to national prominence as co-host of the whimsical TV show Zumbo’s Just Desserts (2016), followed by vibrant appearances on Get Arty (7TWO, 2017–2019) and Brazil’s international cooking series Diário do Olivier.

In both 2024 and 2025, she was honored as one of the top 23 cake artists in the world , a testament to her global impact and unique artistic voice. Her creations have captured the attention of leading publications including VOGUE, The Lane, The WED, and The Bridal Journey.

Her work is known for its bold, sculptural aesthetic and daring approach to flavour, seamlessly blending unexpected ingredients and striking textures. Every cake is meticulously crafted using premium ingredients, resulting in designs that are just as memorable to taste as they are to behold.

What began as a love for elegant desserts has evolved into a multifaceted brand. Through educational platforms, artistic collaborations, and forward-thinking ventures, our client continues to redefine what’s possible in cake design,inspiring both clients and fellow creatives with innovation, precision, and unmistakable style. Duties and Responsibilities:

Content Creation

  • Develop visual and written content (posts, reels, stories, paid adds etc.) focused mainly on shop online
  • Take or source photos/videos that align with brand style (photos & videos will be sent by gigi)
  • Use design tools (like Canva or Adobe Suite) to make graphics and helpful pamphlets, pop up artwork and campaign ads

Content Planning & Scheduling

  • Create and manage a content calendar
  • Plan campaigns around our mkt calendar such as product launches, key events
  • Run and manage ad campaigns
  • Schedule posts using tools like Meta Business Suite
  • Website shop online Management
  • Manage and upload new products on shop online(this can be reviewed depending on habitability (using wordpress website servidor) ecommence or shopify

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track performance (likes, shares, reach, engagement, etc.)
  • Adjust strategy based on insights
  • Present reports monthly so we can create strategies based on what’s working or not

Trend Spotting & Strategy

  • Stay on top of trends (audio, hashtags, formats, memes)
  • Recommend new tactics to grow following and reach
  • Understand competitors and what’s working in the industry

Collaboration

  • Communicate with internal teams (marketing,sales, etc.)”

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Social Media Manager
  • Proven experience managing Instagram accounts and overseeing website content
  • Must have access to their own work device (laptop or desktop)

Advantageous:

  • Experience providing support to an international or foreign-based company
  • Familiarity with the Australian market
  • Background in working with a pastry business or a related industry
  • Familiar with or passionate about fashion, design, and food
  • Experience working on the creatives (video and photo editing)
