Job Description

What You’ll Do

Content Production:

  • Ideate, script, and produce short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels.
  • Handle end-to-end production — from shooting and editing to adding captions/effects to delivering final videos.
  • Create content that is authentic, fun, relatable, and shareable .

Trend Spotting & Experimentation:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, sounds, challenges, and formats.
  • Experiment with new styles, transitions, and storytelling techniques to maximize reach and engagement while staying true to Mudah.my’s brand voice.
  • Propose innovative content ideas that reflect brand authenticity and nuance.

AI-Enhanced Creativity (Advantage):

  • Explore AI-powered tools (e.g., for editing, captions, filters, audio enhancement, animation).
  • Use AI to automate repetitive editing tasks and speed up production.
  • Experiment with AI-generated visuals, voiceovers, or creative concepts that help content stand out.

Performance Focus:

  • Monitor engagement on published content and learn from performance results, and continuously improve.
  • Adapt quickly based on what resonates with audiences.
  • Continuously refine content for stronger impact and reach

Qualifications

  • Skilled in short-form video creation using editing apps such as CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere Rush, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social-first content formats.
  • Current with social media trends, platform algorithm updates, and platform-specific best practices (e.g., optimal video lengths, hashtag strategies, posting frequency, and engagement techniques).
  • Basic knowledge of social media metrics and performance tracking.
  • Ability to align content with brand voice and marketing objectives
  • Highly creative,collaborative, and able to deliver content on quick turnaround timelines.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • AI knowledge is an added advantage:
    • Familiarity with AI tools for video editing, captions/subtitles, or visual effects.
    • Interest in experimenting with AI-generated content ideas (while keeping it authentic).
  • good communication skills
  • coming from a design background
  • candidate with 1 - 2 years experience required but fresh graduates are encourage to apply

Additional Information

  • able to work from office at least 3 times a week (hybrid arrangement )
  • can be flexible in shifting and doing multiple projects
  • candidate shortlisted for interview are encourage to bring in your laptop for the interview session with pre-install apps such capcut, should you do not a laptop please do inform to the team as they will try to prepare one for the interview.
  • candidate that is shortlisted also to share their IG /tiktok video contents for the team to review as well.
  • potential renewal based on performance
