About the Role:
Our Engineering team is given trust and autonomy to do great work. We work in small teams focused on specific features of our core platform, with 4-5 Engineers including a Technical Lead. We work in a triad with Product Managers and Designers to solve problems for our customers.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in PHP, Laravel, and SQL to join our team. This role involves working on exciting data products and data automation projects. You will also have the opportunity to learn and work with AWS Bedrock, enhancing your skills in AI technologies.
What you’ll do:
- Design and develop highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant systems using PHP and Laravel.
- Develop and optimise complex SQL queries for data manipulation and extraction.
- Work on data products and automation projects to streamline processes and enhance data utilisation.
- Improve your code quality, product execution, and learning experience.
- Use DDD, Design patterns, and advanced Git to produce maintainable code.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Fullstack Engineer designing, developing, testing, deploying in PHP.
- Strong experience with SQL and OLAP/Analytical databases.
- Passionate about Test Driven Development.
- Exposure to DBT and BI tools
