General Summary:

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, efficient, and integrated technology solutions that align with the business goals of ConnectWise. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to shape the architectural landscape, identify optimization opportunities, and ensure effective use of enterprise systems, including Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, Boomi, and related solutions. The Solution Architect will play a critical role in transforming business requirements into technical solutions that support seamless end-to-end processes across all systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with business partners, product teams, and IT stakeholders to translate functional requirements and business outcomes into scalable, efficient, and supportable technology solutions
  • Designs and maintains the architectural blueprint for enterprise applications (Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, Boomi) to ensure alignment with business goals and best practices
  • Identifies opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, and usability across the technology stack, with a focus on streamlining processes and reducing technical debt
  • Leads the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, ensuring successful implementation with existing systems
  • Partners with business and technical teams to create and enforce standards for system configurations, data governance, and security
  • Provides technical leadership and guidance on the implementation of new features, customizations, and upgrades across the enterprise platforms
  • Documents architecture solutions and ensures alignment with company standards and compliance requirements
  • Continuously monitors industry trends and best practices in enterprise applications and integration to recommend improvements to the tech landscape
  • Troubleshoots complex technical challenges, identifies root causes, and drives resolution in collaboration with the IT team

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect in a SaaS environment, with hands-on expertise in Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, Boomi and similar enterprise platforms
  • Strong understanding of system integrations, middleware platforms, and data flow across enterprise applications
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, end-to-end solutions that address business needs and align with architectural best practices
  • Familiarity with subscription billing platforms (e.g., Zuora, SuiteBilling, Zone Billing, etc) and ERP systems like NetSuite
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools for solution development and delivery
  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices in an enterprise SaaS environment

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of experience working in a SaaS environment, with exposure to enterprise Quote-to-Cash solutions
  • 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or equivalent role, focused on enterprise-level solutions
  • Participation in scaling technology environments during periods of high growth or system overhauls
  • A track record of identifying inefficiencies in enterprise systems and successfully implementing solutions to optimize workflows

Working Conditions:
